I have been close friends with Judy for many years, and have become friends with Steve more recently.
Judy was as close as a sister to me. It will be a long time before I don't pick up the phone to call, or send her a funny joke.
She and Steve will be missed more than words can express.

So sorry for this tragic loss of two wonderful people
I grew up on Millidge Ave where we all knew one another. And I was Judy’s parents paperboy back in the day. A wonderful family and a lovely daughter so cherished.
Rest Eternal Grant unto Judy O Lord and let light perpetual shine upon her

I can’t remember not knowing Judy; our mothers were friends and we grew up on Millidge Ave together. So many memories. Growing up in the 70s was a blast. In recent years we reconnected on fb and had great conversations. She was always an adventurer, fearless, really. One of our favourite songs back in the day was “Take it to the Limit” and she quoted it to me not too long ago. I’m so sorry this happened. She will not be forgotten.

This is such sad news and many of us are trying to understand it. Judy was a big part of family, my kids and grandkids have very fond memories that will help them through this difficult time. Judy was my coworker but also my friend for many years. She would tell you exactly how it was, you didn’t need to second guess but she would also be by your side whenever you needed her. I hope they have a big fishing hole for you and Steve to catch that big one. RIP my friend.

This is us...years ago. The three amigos. Rarely had the same day off but when we did be sure we made the most of it. Usually orchestrated by Judy. She was adamant about friends getting together and being there for each other. Although we hadnt spoken in a time I will remember fondly all of the good times, the hair raising times and the quiet deep moments. Will keep you in my thoughts always....

I am shocked and saddened to hear the bad news about Judy and Stephen. For me, these two were the backbone of the East Branch. They helped me on many occasions as I made my trips toward Eagle Lake. And, without being asked, the two of them carried deck boards across the trail (1 mile) to Eagle Lake in 2017 and wouldn't even come to the camp for lunch! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as we all grieve.

My heart is shattered in a million pieces. you were like a mother, sister and aunt all wrapped into the beautiful soul you were. My life will never be the same, I am already missing the daily phone calls with your wise advice and not to mention how your words of hope have gotten me through the the last eleven months of being out of work injured. This is just a tragedy. I Love you my friend and can say that atleast you went doing what you love and with your soul mate. You both will be missed beyond words. “Until we meet again”

I am so very sad to be reading this obituary for Judy. I have known her my entire life living in the same area and attending the same schools, then working for the same company. She had such a zest for life off the grid, our very own homesteader. She will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend.

Condolences to Judy's family and friends. Judy was one of a kind, she was always so happy and lived her live to the fullest.
I had the pleasure of building Judy and Stephen's garage and working for her for many years. I will always remember Judy and Stephen leaving for their adventure that day with so much joy and excitement to finally be able to go out for a run. RIP Judy and Stephen.

So sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. We had a camp near Judy, and got to know her from there. She would always look out for anything unusual at the camp and let us know. She was a great neighbour and an amazing person. We send out our sincere condolences to all of her family and friends!

Cousin Judith and I met at the age of 10. I remember back then, her love for the outdoors. My fondest memories was her riding a 50cc Honda motorbike, her love of outdoor sports, going trough the trails in the woods, biking down the road and down to the water in French Lake. I am so sorry that I did not get down last year. I was delayed but time kept moving forward. Sadly, lesson has been learnt. I would like to acknowledge the family and the sorrow that you are experiencing. Remember that the tears you shed is how love escapes when you can't say it.
