She came to get her hair done every four weeks, made her own appointments, Ann would always make sure she and Gale (another friend) always had their appointments together, we shared many laughs at these hair appointments . Condolences to Eddie, Robbie and Neil. She was the best neighbour. I enjoyed all the pranks she and dad played on each other (she put our house up for sale once...) and the quiet pranks too (she planted a bunch of flower bulbs in secret for my mom one tough year). She was quick with a plate of sweets or a pie and always had time to chat with me. I was happy to babysit for her and the boys (not just because she often had a new sugar free thing for me to try when I was a newly diagnosed diabetic - I know she didn't share her stash with just anyone). Dear Ed, Neal, Robbie, Jane and family I send my sincere condolences to you all on the passing of beautiful Ann. She was so kind and sincere and made everyone's life better. I played ball with Ed for years and Ed, Ann and I were always close friends Here is a memory I have of them that everyone probably can relate to. I moved out west in the 80's but would return for a visit every few years. I often would go down to Sand Point Road to visit the Jeffery's Ed and Ann would great me at the door with the biggest smiles and enthusiasm From there we would sit at the kitchen table and discuss our lives. .Ann would make sure the boys came up from downstairs and meet their friend. Then they would be off. Ann was the best host. There was always good food and plenty of it. She cared about me, my life and my family. Now that she is gone those memories seem more recent and memorable. I can still hear saying to Ed.as the action in basement picked up tempo "Go down there and make sure those boys aren't killing each other" What a beautiful family. Ed , Robbie and Neil....I worked with Ann as a fellow technologist in the chemistry lab at both the old provincial lab and the SJRH.Ann was one of the best ! Her kindness ,dedication to her profession and , of course , her tremendous sense of humor made her sooo lovable.She would come to work with hilarious stories about the boys' antics as they were growing up and it was obvious over the years how much she loved her Eddie and boys.I am heartbroken to hear of her passing but know that her love will always be with you.I bet she has her arms around all of you right now.Ann will be so missed by so many.God bless you all.
