Dear Jen and Amy, I’m so very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. We worked together for many years both on the street and on the executive of Local 61, we shared laughs and tears through the years. I will miss his great sense of humour, when we last spoke he was still giving me advise which he knew I may or may not follow through on. Rest easy, Steve

I worked a patrol car in West Saint John with Steve. He had recently returned from a secondment with policing services in Fredericton. I told him my Dad had recently left Newfoundland and was the Fredericton Airport Crash Fire Chief. Steve made it a point of dropping by and saying hello to him the next time he was in Fredericton. He was that kind of man. When we worked night shifts he checked on his mom. He cared deeply about family. He was always someone I could count on at work as a policeman. I can’t say enough. Sorry for your loss.

I grew up with Steve in Fairville NB. He was 1 year older than me , so when we picked teams for sandlot baseball or road hockey Steve would always be captain of 1 team and Steve Fox would be captain of the other. We had some great times growing up , hitch hiking to Dominion Park to go swimming in the summer , sliding on Kingston Hill in the winter , building forts in Fritz's Woods. Steve was always one of our leaders , he was a great guy. Rest In Peace Steve.

Dear Amy and Jenn,
Our deepest, heartfelt condolences on Steve’s passing. Personally, I am saddened as I held him in the highest esteem. He was always kind to me growing up. Him and Lynda took me to my first movie “The Shaggy DA” and it is a cherished memory. I used to get a kick out of his Cordobas and his love of baseball. Steve was one of the most intelligent men that I knew, he also affected my desire to be a police officer. His infectious laugh will be missed.
I wish him peace and rest now.
Love
Lyndia (Hannigan) and Dave Bridges, Katherine and Isabelle.
