Obituary of Annie Lyon

Lyon, Annie Leona The death of Miss A. Leona Lyon of Welsford occurred on November 20, 2010 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home. Born in Armstrong’s Corner, N.B. on December 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Helen (Lyon) Lyon. Leona lived in Welsford all of her adult life and was a member of Welsford United Church. She is survived by her niece Diane (James) Nutter, her nephew Donald G. (Debra) Lyon, her sister-in-law Joan Lyon, 3 great-nephews, 1 great-niece, 3 great-great-nephews, and 1 great-great-niece. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Ralph Lyon. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701) with visiting on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Welsford United Church.
