Obituary of Vincent Joseph Richard

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Vincent Joseph Richard which occurred on April 2, 2015 at his Residence. Born in 1924 he was the son of the late Antoine and Aurelie (Vautour) Richard. Vincent was born and raised in West Saint and was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Vincent will be dearly missed by brother Emery (Rita) of Saint John, NB, Ivan of Neguac, NB; sister Brigette (Steve) Peters of Thunder Bay, ON; brother-in-law Harry Adams of Saint John, NB; nieces Mary (Mario) Ermers, Susan (Danny) Thompson and Karen Peters; nephews Donald (Lynn) Adams, Gerald Adams, Peter (Heather) Adams, Gary (Sue) Richard and Mark Peters; several great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Vincent was predeceased by sister Viola Adams. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church (360 Dufferin Row) on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 12:00noon. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in Vincent’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
