Lynn, Gary, Bob and Families: To say that we are saddened by the passing of your dear and beloved mother is an understatement. To say that your mother was a special, indeed iconic, influence in my and my family's life is also an understatement. These are times when words are so inadequate to express what a person has "meant" to another. "Jones" was a friend, of course, but also a "2nd mother", a mentor, a cheerleader, a confidante, an advisor, a "sounding board"...and so much more. For 45 years she was the aforesaid, never flinching in performing this "unpaid role" within our family - and we were so much the better for it! I know I am comforted by the belief that, right up to the end, Jones knew of this influence and impact, and relished the fact that it was so. I also know that this was true in your respective families, and knowing this, I want to express my deepest condolences for your loss on behalf of my family. I know she will be sorely missed, not only by yourselves, but also by those that were "touched" by her somewhere along the way in their own unique life paths. That being said, I know that eventually this sadness will be offset by the memories of someone who has led a life well lived. With many thoughts and much love, Ken

Lynn, Bob and Gary. Please accept my condolences. I have fond memories of Mildred from not just our high school days Lynn but also later when I would see her at the curling club. She was always so kind and pleasant to chat with. My wife Jill remembers Mildred's kindness to her as an aspiring curler. Our thoughts are with you. David and Jill Logan
