Obituary of Rosemai Vairogs
It is with deep sadness, Norine announces the death of her beloved mother, Rosemai Vairogs which occurred on April 6, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Rosemai was born on May 8, 1920 and was the daughter of Patrick and Osithe (Legere) O’Brien. Rosemai was an avid knitter and enjoyed doing crosswords, jigsaw, and watching jeopardy. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers. Rosemai loved to go for drives with family and friends as well. She is survived by her daughter Norine Vairogs and her husband Joe Boudreau of Saint John, NB; half-son Laimon Vairogs of Quebec, five step-grandchildren, several step great-grandchildren, and special niece Jeanne McGrath of British Columbia, and special nephew Ronnie and his wife Simone Legere. Rosemai was predeceased by husband, Nicholas as well as a brother and two sisters. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 7:00pm – 8:30pm, Saturday from 10:00am – 12:00 noon at Castle Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held from Castle Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 12:00 noon. Donations in Rosemai’s memory can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice. Online condolences can be made at www.castlefh.com
