Rose, smiled easily, laughed as only she could. I remember her laugh as I write. She loved my father as no one else could and for that reason as well as many other reasons, I love her. One day my father was enraged and she quietly calm him down, turned his thoughts right around and he submitted to her. 'Nick', she said, 'Why don't you just do it.' With those few words and a loving tone, what could have been a disaster turned into a great moment. I miss her, a fine woman and a loving stepmother.

Norine, I have wonderful memories of visiting with Jeanne. She was a grand lady. Lovely smile, loved to talk and very enjoyable to listen to. She will always be remembered.

How sad it is when we lose a parent. I know Rose would like her memory to be a happy one and leave an afterglow of smiles. Those are my memories of her, she will be missed by all who knew her. What an inspiration,something positive came from her every day contacts,whether the hairdresser the doctor,the eye specialist,the dentist,the pharmacist,or the sales person where she purchased her most favorite lobster.
