What can I say about my uncle bud that has not already been already said. He loved his family, he loved being with his family, he loved his camp and his hockey and everyone young and old loved being with him. He was quick with a joke and a hearty laugh and a great drink. I loved spending time with him and especially watching him banter with Gram Bess. OMG the times we had were fun. Bud took me on my first hunting trip - for bear I think - when I was about 10 years old. I was so excited. It was my first trip and I had a million questions but uncle Bud took all the time to explain everything to me. My eldest son Derek remembers the time at the camp when Bud taught Derek how to ride the ATV. Its a good memory of a time with a man who cared about people. You never forget these things and as you get older you learn to appreciate these moments as the currency of life. This is only a few things in the wealth of a life well lived by my uncle Bud. Rest in peace Bud until we meet again and say hello to Gram Bess. We will be along in time. Lew Sears
