Sorry warren and George for your loss. It’s hard to lose your parents at anytime or age . We shared many memories of visits to Saint John which also introduced us to Shediac Beach. Mom and Aunt Shirley had a wonderful relationship. The face times in later years were a testament to that. We have had many memories of your trips to Corner Brook with the fellowship , the fun and the moments that we just can’t erase from our minds. Find comfort in your families that are left.

I'm very sorry for your families loss. I know she must have been a wonderful Mother, I have been lucky enough to get to know her son and daughter-in-law Warren and Donna here at our Restaurant. They are wonderful people so I can only imagine she was a positive influence on the people close to her.
Rest In Peace,
Dan Northrup

Warren, George, Donna, Janet and families,
I was so saddened to learn of my sister's passing. I have many wonderful memories of our childhood days growing up in Bishops Cove, Conception Bay, Newfoundland.
I last saw Shirley a little over two years ago when myself, daughter Donna and granddaughter Brooke visited her at the Loch Lomond Villa. Despite her dementia, Shirley immediately filled up and embraced me tightly, knowing that I was someone especially close to her. While Covid has prevented us from visiting this past two years, I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to face time with her (and Sarah) on many occasions. Shirley always beamed when we saw each other and laughed as I talked about growing up in Bishop's Cove, various family members and some of the special things about our home community, particularly the winding roads and water along the Bishops Cove shore. There was no doubt that Shirley enjoyed our reminiscing and very much loved the place where she grew up. I will especially cherish the times that we had together through face time during the past two years.
I thank God for the many years that we had together. Our family shared many joys as well as many sorrows. While we have lost another link from our family chain, I know that we will all meet again one day.
Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Lots of love Aunt Marge

it is with fond memories of a special woman of God that we say our earthly farewell to Shirley Jones. May her family take comfort in knowing both she and her beloved hubby and soulmate, Eleazar, are now rejoicing in the presence of their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
