To the Stewart Family...
So sorry for your loss of Tommy, a true gentleman and so devoted to you all. The last “Icon” of Suffolk Street, keeping an eye on all of us kids, no matter which yard we would gather! After your move to Queen Street he still drove down to Suffolk, waving and smiling to those of us left. Treasure your love and memories of him, they will keep him in your heart always.

To My Very Dear Sweet Uncle Tom
I write this message to you today with tears on my cheeks but happiness in my heart. I often wonder how I, born daughter of Isabella and Willard, got to be so fortunate to come into this family and have an Uncle like you, to guide me,teach me, kept me company when I was scared or alone, took me everywhere that I needed to go, bought me treats and made me happy my whole life.
How was I, me, so lucky to have you....I have asked myself that question a million times. You were always there when help was needed. You gave us hugs when love was what we needed..You always told people that we were your kids and that has to be the highest title of all to give to a niece and nephew. Times were real tuff growing up in the 60s and 70s and when I would tell you something that is wrong, you would ALWAYS SAY "that's not a problem, I can fix that. As I got older, grown woman, you always smile at me with your heart shining in your eyes and say,,,,Is there anything you need Deb? I would say... nope, I have everything I need, just blow me a kiss. Even up to Saturday Aug 24th 2021,you still blew me a kiss. Well, Uncle Tom, I will blow back to you my dear sweet Uncle, my final kiss. I love you and will miss you. See you in heaven....have some nickels ready....Deb

Sorry to read of Tommy's departure from this life. He definitely was a faithful member of St. Jude's - one Sunday he was the only parishioner beside the rector (who lived next door) to brave a winter storm by wending his way across Queen Square to worship.
May he rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon him.
