Obituary of Frank Thomas Green
It is with a life well lived that the family of Frank Green announce his passing on August 19, 2021. Frank Thomas Green was born on May 27, 1930, to William and Dora Green.
Frank was an avid scouter, he loved telling stories about his trip overseas with his father. He would also reminisce about Florida trips with John and Ellie Beckwith. Frank was an excellent carpenter and handyman. He made doll furniture and could fix anything and always was willing to lend a hand, even when not asked. He loved camping and canoeing with his family.
His greatest joy was watching his grandchildren play sports. As Frank was an avid Leaf’s fan, every Saturday night we would gather at Bonner Place to watch Hockey Night in Canada.
Frank was grateful for the dialysis department Doctors and Nurses, where he spent 3 days a week for the past 13 years.
Dad is predeceased by his wife Maura, son Stephen and his sister Vivian Dionne.
He is survived by his children; Mark (Denise), Paul, Susan Mersereau (Michael) and Carolyn Guimond (Leandre), grandchildren; Sarah, Katie, Michael, Bryan, Laura, Stefan, Andre, Justin, and Sophie, great-grandchildren; Jeffery, Elliot, and Frankie Jane, and sister Rose Marie Foster.
We are thankful to Paul for his care of Dad and allowing Dad to stay at home.
