Now here is the other thing. We also have young Doug Belding watching over Red and Jada. He will become their collective grandfather image. He will keep them both out of trouble. I am thinking all three of them are doing 'fist-bumps' right now. Doug ... if you hear me ..., please show Red and Jada how to tie a knot. Please show Red how to snare (I have seen his snares). And Doug, please show Jada how to start her bike. "Can I borrow a wrench" she asks, with helmet on to muffle her voice. The Community is hurting for you Fred. We all hurt for you. Neighbor Dan

I am neighbour Dan at the end of Cranberry Head Road. My sincere condolences go to you Fred and your family, and all of Red's friends. I knew Ryan as 'Red' and met him several times. I liked him because he was always upfront with me and no holds barred. He used to come next door to snare rabbits and asked why I had all the wires strung out in the woods. Radio stuff I responded, and he was then fine with that. I watched one evening (3 am) while he drove the beach with his truck. It was dark of course but I followed his bouncing headlights with a watchful eye. I was expecting a telephone rescue call, but he managed to get the truck through and around the beach things. An extremely good driver, I figured his Dad taught him. I watched as he interfaced not only with me, but with his friends. I know he was a close friend of Jake and Milena. His conversations with them showed his kind, caring, and gentle nature. Be very proud of your lovely boy. He and I did not always see eye to eye, but that is okay too. Right now he is sitting on God's knee. He has thrown his harp aside and is arguing the right fishing knot with Jesus ... with Jada looking on. Both he and Jada are ready to pounce.

Ryan: He was one of my two most very best friends in the world. Didn't hang out lots but when we did, he felt like a brother. He'd always take that extra step to make everyone happy. Also when you're around him you didn't have to worry about any other person making fun or bothering you because he always stuck up for his true friends. ❤ He will always be missed

Fred, Lorraine and family. My heartfelt condolences on your loss of, Ryan. I can’t, nor even want to try to imagine your depth of grief. Our children are our most precious gifts and the loss of such a gift is unimaginable. My kids (the Renton’s) have shared stories of Ryan and how he looked out for them when they were growing up, including defending them from bullies. He was kind and always made them laugh. He will be greatly missed by everyone and will be remembered for his kindness and laughter and for being a hero. My thoughts and heart are with you all.
