My deepest sympathy to you, Paula, Doug and all the family on the loss of your mother, grandmother, beloved Theresa Pitts. We certainly were not prepared for this loss, when we talked on the phone just a little while ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you cope with this new reality, giving you all this opportunity to knit this family tightly together, a task that without the presence of Theresa will require much thought and effort. May God bless and keep you all in His love, care and comfort. Ilse

My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. She was a woman of integrity who always maintained an interest in how her children were doing in school. In particular, I recall your mother coming into Christine's Gr. 4 class to have a chat with the late Margaret Kean about Christine's academic performance. ( Christine and I were classmates for several years.) While I never knew your mother well, please rest assured that she is resting peacefully in the palm of God's Hand. May you all cherish the pleasant moments you shared with your late mother.

My condolences and my prayers go out to the whole family. Remember when we the Becks (Donna and Sharon and myself) were small playing with Colleen outside the house and how pleasant your mom was. Also going to school with Colleen and Michelle. Then I had the pleasure of meeting 2 of her grandchildren through St. Rose Church, David and Maggie Pitts teaching them through Children's Church. May your memories of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother be in your hearts. Susan

My wonderful friend and neighbour for 20 years. We shared so many stories and laughs at both the front door and back depending on which way she returned from her daily walks. Whenever Theresa cooked muffins there would always be some in her mailbox along with her newspaper that she gave me to read . Even when ill she would make sure I got a piece of her birthday cake or the special lemon pie she knew I enjoyed. . I'll sure miss her going to the Irish dinners and events with me. She was special friend to Brandy , my dog , having treats at both doors . He knew exactly where the treats were in her kitchen- under the sink. After 3 she would say all gone and away he went on a tour of her house. I'll cherish the pictures of him sitting on her doorstep either waiting for her or sitting beside her So many stories and memories Theresa. They will help me to remember you with love and fondness. A class lady who saw only the good in everyone and the positive side of everything.
