I have many wonderful memories of Mr. Connor, from Sunday services at St. Jude's, church socials, dinners, pageants, my grand parents funerals where he brought us such comfort regaling stories, he even created my wedding bouquet. He has always been there with a helping hand, a gentle welcome and a twinkle in his eye. A true angel on Earth and a person people should aspire to be. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I was born the same year as the Connor twins. It was natural that we all played together on Beaconsfield Ave. My sister Joan and I send our sympathy to Frank. Happy memories of childhood, Marie (Cameron)

I have fond memories of George from my time when we were boys. I played both baseball and hockey with his brother Tom; George was not the athletic type but was always fun to be around. RIP.

George was a joy to have as a neighbour in our apartment building. He always had a smile and a positive chat inspite of health challenges. He truly will be missed here. He was a true gentleman! Fly high, George, as you shake off those earthly chains. You are free at last.

Although I never actually met George in person, we had numerous telephone and email conversations in which I found him to be friendly and a story teller. George was eager and helpful in searching out our Connor family history. RIP

So sorry to read about the passing of George. We had a nice visit just before I left for Florida, down at Lawton's. He was an institution in Fairville and will be remembered by many. He always had a smile and joke for everyone and even when I saw him last he seemed to be trying to look on the bright side. RIP our friend. Ann & Bob
