We were saddened to hear of Ralph's passing. We always appreciated Ralph very much during our four years living in Maces Bay. We found him to be very friendly, kind, patient, helpful and compassionate with us in our first pastorate. We remember the time church was cancelled due to a snow storm but we we had already walked over to the church before the call came. So he drove his truck up the snowy road to the church. He said, "I don't know who is crazier, you two or me?" Our love and prayers go out to Judy and John and their families. We have many fond memories of Ralph and Irene and our lives were enriched by being mentored by them. God bless all of those who mourn.

Dear John, Judy, and family, Please accept my deepest condolences in your loss. I had not seen Ralph in recent years but I remember him from when I was a little girl and he would stop in to visit Grampy. He seemed such a gentle, kind , soft-spoken man. Always saw him with a smile that seemed to light up his whole face. My grandfather thought, and spoke, very highly of him. I am sure they are busy catching up on all the fishing news now, with all their old cronies, at God's wharf on high. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
