I am so sorry to hear about Jake's passing. We were really good friends in the early 80's. Did you know that Jake and I started the 8 Ball League in 1982. Jake was the president, and my name then, was Lynn Leger. The 8 ball league is still running today. Sending love and hugs.

Wayne my friend. Thank you for the opportunity and pleasure of working with you. I wish I could have got to see you before you passed. We spent many hour's days and years working together for this I am thankful. I only met one man as great you my dad. I was at your home when I got the call that my dad passed. You gave me a big hug and said he is in a better place now. Tell him I said hello and we will all be together again someday. You will always have a special place in my ❤

So sad of hearing of Jake's passing, sincere condolences to all family members. I knew Jake since we were in our 20's. He was one of the sweetest men I had come to know. He was always giving and sincere. Jake was a great planner and doer. He recruited myself and a few others to work with him to form the 8 Ball Pool League. He did much of the leg work to get it off the ground. He had a vision and he brought it to life, with the league still going today. RIP Jake, you surely will be sadly missed by many.

It was a time in 1972 we crossed paths and a friendship was formed; There were a band of brothers that traveled, thick and thin with laughter and memories ; At times friendships are tested but who dwells on disputes to alienate; We may have been distant but true friends never part; In recent weeks when we spoke you did not show your pain, instead you recalled our good times, remembering those good times took away your troubles for the moment; As those close to you remember and mourn their loss, you are now in peace; Always a Brother....see you on the other side. Rest in Peace my friend.
