Karen Ann is my first cousin. Her mother and my father were siblings. It has only been about 7 years that I have actually been more in contact with her and during that time, she has taken my grand son on as one of her "just have to make a sweater for" recipients. He is now 6 years old and has 6 beautiful masterpieces from her. And much more than that, Karen Ann really cared about any family updates she could pump from us. She was, and is, a gem. She has earned her wings. We will miss her deeply, but at the same time, we are equally glad she can now be done with her medical challenges associated with this Earth life. Rest in peace my cousin, my friend. Sending my love upwards, Theresa Elise Straight and family
