Obituary of Kerry Christina McBrearty

Kerry Christina McBrearty passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Kerry was born on June 8, 1961 in Montreal Quebec, to the late George and Thelma (Robertson) McBrearty.

Kerry will be dearly missed by her siblings; Kevin McBrearty, Rose Constantine (Barry), Doug Ladds (Pat), Brenda Moxy (Bill), and Darren Ladds, several aunts and uncles, and many niece and nephews.

In addition to her parents Kerry was predeceased by her 3 beloved dogs; Kodi, Tasha and Nanook.

Kerry lived most of her life in Montreal.

Kerry spent 25 years trying to find her biological family and in 2016 all her hard work paid off. She moved to Saint John in 2021 after her retirement and spent the last 4 years with her sister Rose.  Kerry enjoyed painting in her retirement.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. In keeping Kerry’s wishes cremation has taken place and interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Kerry’s memory can be made to the SPCA.
