Obituary of Carrie Mae Rideout

Carrie Mae Rideout passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 18 2024 at her home. Carrie was born on January 30,1973 in Saint John, NB to the late William and Carol Rideout.

Carrie will be sadly missed by her son Tyler Higgs (Rachel), siblings; Kathy Rideout, William ‘Billy’ Rideout, Heather Asbridge (Richard), and Robin Yorston (Dave), nieces and nephews; Zackery Rideout, Kelly Crane, Ashley Asbridge, Matt Melvin, Kevin Melvin and Crystal Rideout, dear friend Bill and special cat Scout.

Carrie worked as a hair stylist for many years, she loved her career. She enjoyed going to the beach, listening to music, tanning, singing karaoke, shopping with her sisters, and going on coffee dates with her son.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with a Memorial service following immediately at 1:00 PM in Castle Fallsview Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Carrie’s memory can be made to the SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice.
