Obituary of Malcolm Frederick Mowery
The family of Malcolm Mowery wish to announce his passing on November 28,2024. Which occurred at home, after a prolonged illness. He is now at peace with God. Born January 14, 1945 to Joseph and Evelyn (Sewell) Mowery.
Mac is survived by his loving wife Ann (Crawford) Mowery, daughter Beth (Peter) Stagg and son Tony Mowery. His grandchildren Jacob Mowery, Kathryn Stagg and Matthew Stagg. His brother Ralph Mowery; In laws Charles and Theresa Crawford; Nieces Christine, Linda, Jenna and Nephews Joseph, Scott and Todd.
Although Mac had several health challenges, he never complained. He always greeted everyone with a smile and his memorable laugh. He enjoyed his St. Georges Anglican Church family. He spent many years volunteering with the Boy Scout and Cub organization. He was an active participant in St Georges Group Committee, Lay Readers and Servers.
When he wasn’t volunteering, he would be seen driving Beth and Tony to numerous sports and other activities. He loved attending his grandchildren’s recitals, sports, performing arts and talent shows.
He is predeceased by his parents, brother Donald, Mother In Law Jeanette Crawford and Sister In Law Judy Mowery.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Castle Fallsview Chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, Mac would appreciate donations to Bobby’s Hospice, Red Cross Equipment Loan Program or Westside Food Bank.
