Obituary of Gordon Francis Hunt

Gordon Francis Hunt passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Gordon was born on March 17, 1951 in Saint John, to Gordon R. and Fran Ethel Jean (Horseman) Hunt.

Gordon loved to hunt, fish and tinker and putter around the house. He always enjoyed a good cup of coffee with friends and cigarette. Gordon loved animals and his motorcycle.

Gordon will be sadly missed by his mother Fran, wife of 31 years, Ruth (Jensen) Hunt, daughter Missy M. DeLong, siblings; Terry Hunt (Tammy), Johnny Hunt (Eileen), Linda Hunt, and Carol Hunt (Bernie Pye), grandson Adam (Hayley), great granddaughter Ella, mother in law Bonnie Jensen, sister in law Cindy London (Hal), brother in law Herbie Jensen (Christine Organ) and several nieces and nephews.

Gordon was predeceased by his father Gordon Hunt.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Keeping with Gordon’s wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to the Saint John SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice.
