Obituary of Sheila Ann Sullivan

Sheila Sullivan (nee Keyes) died Tuesday, September 24th at Kennebec Manor, Saint John. 

Born in 1940 in St, John’s Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Staples) Keyes.   

She was a graduate of St. Martha’s School of Nursing, Antigonish, NS. She worked as a registered nurse at various institutions, including St Joseph’s hospital and Rocmaura nursing home in Saint John, NB. 

She is survived by a sister, Noreen Munro of Whitby and five children:  Sean Arthur Sullivan (Rosilyn) of Las Vegas, Brian Sullivan of Quispamsis, Moira Law (David) of Rothesay, Terence Sullivan of Saint John and Shannon Sullivan of France.   She is remembered fondly by her former colleagues, many friends, extended family, nieces, nephews and her grandchildren: Kirstyn, Hannah, Mary, David Arthur, Abigail, Nathan, Veronica, Felicity, Benedict, Reilly, Liam, Quinn, Kate and Grace. 

She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Sullivan and her siblings Dr. Sean A. Keyes and Sylvia Keyes. 

Resting at Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from Holy Redeemer Parish at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Sheila's memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice, the Cathedral Restoration Project or a charity of the donors choice.
