Obituary of Sandra Lynn Cameron

Sandra Lynn (McManus) Cameron daughter of the late Gregory Joseph and Nellie Mae McManus, was born in Saint John, N.B., on August 6, 1948, and passed away September 9, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Sandra was predeceased by her husband; Donald Cameron, her in-laws; George and Billie Cameron, her sister; Barbara Delaney, brothers; Douglas and Barry McManus and her niece; Cindy Delaney.

Sandra is survived by her daughter; Kelly (Troy) Black, and her granddaughter; Tessa (Liam) Black -Rhude.She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her closest friends, Janet and Pam starting back at St. Rose School. Sandra lived in Fredericton for nearly 50 years. She had a lifelong career with the N.B. Government in various departments, but her true passion was painting, She enjoyed her "shopping trips" throughout North America and Europe. Sandra enjoyed playing Bridge, Curling, Bingo, and spending the summer at the cottage in Brown’s Flat. She loved taking care of her four legged fur babies the "Cameron Critters."

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). Sandra was a heart and stroke survivor but could not survive breast cancer. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery where she will now rest in peace.
