Obituary of Eleanor June Goss

Eleanor June Goss (née Linton) passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024 surrounded by her children.
Eleanor was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on June 23, 1930 to John and Vera Linton.

She was married for 43 years to her loving husband, Hugh Donald Goss and together they raised five children. Eleanor is a graduate of Saint John Vocational School and worked in various jobs during her lifetime. Her most fulfilling job, however, came after she raised her children. She loved her time working as a tour guide and was fortunate to be able to guide many seniors tours to places all over the world. She enjoyed the many people she travelled with, and they enjoyed her kind and caring attention while travelling with her as their guide.

She is survived by three of her five children, Patricia Fenton, Marlene Davis (Scott), and Kevin Goss; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Azzopardi (Lou), Cameron Fenton (Erin), Melissa Friedenthal (Nathaniel), Nathan Goss, Amanda Campbell (Josh), Andrew Baumannn (Alisha), Lisa Gruntman (Chad), Derek Baumann (Michelle), seventeen great-grandchildren; her three brothers, Graham Linton, Wayne Linton and Bill Linton; her dear friend Beth Bastarache, and many extended family members and friends.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Hugh Donald Goss; children, Sharon Lynn Goss, Darell John Goss; parents John and Vera Linton, siblings, Vera Burnett, Mildred Nash, and Robert Linton.
