Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Marshall-Robin

Elizabeth Ann Marshall-Robin passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Kennebec Manor while surrounded by family. Elizabeth was born on January 4, 1940, in Saint John, NB to the late Leroy and Julia (Logan)Marshall.

Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her children; Carl Kneeland (Debbie) and Ardeth Cyr (Frank), Terrence Kneeland (Barb) and Bernard Kneeland, siblings; Michael Marshall,  Ardith Bartlett, Charles Marshall (Mimi), Robert Marshall (Valerie) and Roy Marshall, grandchildren; Josh Connelly (Stephanie), Brenda Connelly, Terrence Kneeland, Stephen Kneeland (Cassandra), Tabatha Allain (Brad) and Candace Trites (Mark), great grandchildren; Ryan Trites, Dylan Trites, Devin Connelly, Ethan Connelly, Joshua jr. Connelly, Sophia Connelly, Amera Connelly, Ryia Connelly, Mckenzie Kneeland, Aselyn Kneeland, Adaline Allain, Kennedy Allain, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Charles Osmond Robin, brother Roy Carl Marshall, sister Judy Greenlaw nephew Richard Jr Bartlett and great niece Robin Bartlett.

Elizabeth spent most of her career working at the DVA Hospital and Saint John Regional Hospital in the admitting department.

Elizabeth was a very out-going, loveable, and kind-hearted person that brought pure joy into everyone’s life she touched. She easily made friends and was always there for anyone in need. Elizabeth was very close with her mother; they shared a special relationship. She took great care of her.

Elizabeth loved dancing and music; it brought great happiness to her life. She enjoyed camping at Keen’s Lake with friends and family, playing 45’s and was an avid reader, particularly Dean Kootz or any mystery novel.

The family would like to Thank all the nursing and support staff at Kennebec Manor for being so kindhearted and taking wonderful care of Betty.

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes cremation has taken place, no visitation or Memorial service. Interment will be held in Loyalist Cemetery Harding’s Point at a later date. In lieu of flower’s donations in Elizabeth’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
