My deepest condolences to Craig's family and friends. My first met Craig about 20 years ago and he soon became my hair stylist in the village downtown Toronto. We became close friends, he loved to escape out to my house on weekends just to visit and have some fun. We went on many adventures to beaches and swimming trips to Ottawa and up north always in a jeep. After Craig moved our friendship changed and evolved to weekly phone calls which he never missed. If I missed picking up he always left me the most hilarious voice message I still have them. I have so many pictures great memories message chats and I will never forget the love and friendship that we shared. He was very special to me. The last thing Craig said to me was I love you and I replied I love you too. XOXO
Craig I hope you went to heaven and clean underwear and yes it's a really good thing Scully can't talk.
Always and forever

My deepest sympathies to Craig's family and friends. He was such a wickedly funny man, we'd laugh everytime I'd visit his chair. There wasn't a topic that was off limits which made experience all that more special. He was a true artist to his profession and will be very much missed.

I am beyond saddened at Craig's death. I was calling him to notify him of my Aunt Lois Baxter's passing just two days before. She was his Mom's very good friend, and Craig often acted as their DD, and added to tgeir mischief-making. Craig was all that is mentioned in his Obituary. He lived a good life. My sympathy to all who will miss him.

My deepest sympathies to Craig’s family and closest friends. I’ve known Craig since he returned to Saint John and have been his loyal client ever since. The relationship- as was only fitting with Craig - became one of friendship. Over the years there has not been a topic we couldn’t or didn’t discuss- and end up laughing about. There will only be one Craig Knorr and I’ll miss him dearly.

Our families meet the summer of 1980 at Wally’s campground in Cambridge Narrows. I was three months old and Craig was 7. Doug & Nancy camped with two other couples, somehow my parents got invited to one of Doug’s campfires. From that campfire on we spent close to 30 summers together. We spent 10 years there then in 1990 my parents purchase a cottage in Appleby’s Point. Over the next couple of summers, all four couples ended up relocating to Appleby’s Point. As Craig got older we saw less of him but when he was around he was always by the water, swimming or water skiing. He sure loved the water! In later years after Craig returned home we would have such a fun time catching up. Definitely lots of laughs. If you knew Craig you were lucky! Condolences from Katie, Cathy and Tim Murphy

Thoughts and prayers to all of Craig's Family and Friends during this time. I first met Craig when I was also attending university in Fredericton. With the goofy smile of his and his amazing ability to make me laugh even on the most darkest of days, it is no wonder that we became fast friends.
That friendship continued on when we both moved to Ottawa. He became a solid friend, my first amazing stylist and a person that will always be in my heart. We even joked that if we were both single when we turned 45, that we would tie the knot and settled down finally!
You will be missed Craig, now and forever!

Craig held a special place for me as he listened intently to my rants, then by one quick line from a sitcom he framed up the the best perspective. He made me laugh uncontrollable in the midst of cutting my hair that he and I would have to stop and regroup. A bright light to so many. He always talked about kayaking he lived for nature and nature took him but it would be where his heart was always. To his family and deepest friendships may you hold on to those memories. His laughter, his love for animals especially his kitty. Craig I will never ever forget your kindness, may your spirit live on in our hearts and this community. Rest in Peace my friend.

I first met Craig in the spring of 2017 when he had just opened his own salon on Canterbury Street. Arriving for my first appointment, I noticed that he didn't have a coat rack - I had several sitting at home in my basement that I needed to get rid of, so I gave him one. We had some great conversations over the next couple of years about the West Side (Craig lived around the corner from us), business, politics, pets, food, and stuff happening in our lives (men talk to bartenders, but women talk to their hairdressers!). When I (accidentally) dyed my hair Tweety-Bird yellow, it was Craig who fixed it for me! I liked him so much that my husband started getting his hair cut there too, as did one of my daughters. We were sad when Craig had to close Salon 55.
His colleagues at Element 5 have it right when they describe Craig as a "shining light" - I don't know if he knew how loved he was! My heart goes out to his family, and his many other friends.
If there's a "Great Outdoors" in heaven, Craig's probably enjoying it, surrounded by cats! Until we meet again, my sweet friend...

Craig was a ray of sunshine. His way of making you feel at ease and like you’d known him for a lifetime is not something you come by often and was something I cherished. I will miss our chats about being excited to go home and put our sweatpants on, watch trashy TV and snuggle our pets. Our chats about what we have been watching lately and if we had any trips planned. I always had bad hair experiences and hair anxiety until I met Craig. From the first time I had him, I knew he going to be was the only person I trusted with my hair from that day on. He was extremely talented and had an eye for what worked. He always let me part my own hair (which I had felt weird asking) but he handed me the comb and waited until I found the perfect part and it became a normal part of my appointments! I will miss his dark sense of humour and his contagious laugh. I looked forward to every hair appointment and chats we got to have together. These memories and more will stay with me for a lifetime. He will be deeply missed not only by myself, but by everyone who was lucky enough to meet him.

We were very sorry to hear of Craig’s passing. We live across the street, and would see him leaving on weekend mornings with his kayak strapped to his car often. Although we didn’t know him well, my little dog Atlas did and would bark every time Craig came and went. I’m sure Craig thought he was a crazy little dog. We will miss seeing Scully Marie in the window, and hope Craig, Nancy, and Doug are together again. Condolences from Lynda, Danny, Rebecca, Madison, Rhaena, and Atlas
