Obituary of Omer Joseph Clarence Allain

It is with profound sadness that the family of Omer Joseph Clarence Allain announces his passing on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Bobby’s Hospice at 4:55pm—a fitting tribute to his beloved race car number, 45. Omer departed this world with his daughter by his side.

Born in St. Antoine, N.B., in 1954, Omer was the cherished son of the late Livain and Germaine (Myers) Allain. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kristen Allain, of Ontario, and his son, Michael Allain, of Alberta. Omer is also survived by his brothers, Charlie and Gary; his sisters, Jeannette, Lavine, Doreen, and Lorie; his niece, Jessica Allain; and his two best friends, Paul Warren of Black’s Harbour, N.B., and Chris Oakley of Saint John, N.B., and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Omer had a passion for working on cars and racing, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him. He had a love for warm Coors Light and a heart full of kindness, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His beautiful blue eyes, infectious smile, and delightful sense of humor will be deeply missed.

In honoring Omer's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at 727 Deadman Harbour Road Black's Harbour E5H 1J6, on Saturday July 20, 2024 at 2:00pm celebrating him with some warm Coors Light in Paul's garage where he absolutely loved to be. I will see everyone there that wishes to come laugh and share some great memories of Omer Allain. Thanks You so much and cant wait to meet the people he knew and loved.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, N.B. (506-634-1701).  Donations to Bobby's Hospice in memory of Omer would be appreciated by the family.

Please remember Omer for his love of cars, his racing spirit, and his generous heart. #45 forever.
