Mr. Boyer, all the children and their families,
Please accept my sincere condolences regarding the passing of your beloved Betty and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time in your lives. I never knew your wife/mother but I do know, with Mr. Boyer, she raised a fine, caring and talented family.
I know you are all very close and trust you will take good care of each other; and, when the time is right you will again
"pick up your instruments, find that perfect mix, make great music" and continue to make your mother proud in all you do.
“Music, when soft voices die, vibrates in the memory.”
―Percy Bysshe Shelley
Keep the Faith.
Sincerely,

Dear Clifford and Family,
Sending our deepest condolences in the loss of Betty. I have very fond memories of BBQs, laughter and live music at the Boyer cottage celebrating cousin Betty’s birthday (& Dad’s, being a few days apart). Betty was so artistic and Mom always looked forward to opening Betty’s gift on Christmas morning to receive her latest creation. May your fondest memories of Betty comfort you at this difficult time.

Best wishes to Cliff, Tod and family in the loss of Betty as wife, mother, grandmother and likely great grandmother. Although I didn't see her often, she was a delightful lady and one of the last members of her immediate family. You might say another figurative library has burned down.

Dear
. If there ever was a person who evidenced "agape" it was Betty Boyer. All in our congregation at Centenary Queens Square United Church felt such warmth in her presence. We cherish a lifelike painted stone of our cat Sam which graces our home. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. We are making a gift to Alzheimer's in her memory.

RIP, my poet friend. A few years back in a Bible study, I don't remember our conversation, but in it I suggested to Betty that she write a poem. She brought it to me the next week, and it's been on my bulletin board ever since. Here it is (untitled):
All my life I have loved music, Music of the wind and the seas,
Music of laughter and joy; Big bands, symphony and organ,
Rock bands, folk groups and choirs; Marching bands and bagpipes,
Or a single harmonica played by someone I love.
All my life my feet have stayed solidly on the ground.
In my next life I want to be a dancer. Then my feet will move and I will follow.
Irish jig, polka and waltz. Tango and hula and minuet.
I will dance ballet on my toes. I will dip and swirl and swing.
And my spirit will be free, Because I can dance.
(May she dance forever among the angels.) --
