Obituary of Margaret Ellen Campbell

Margaret ‘Margie’ Ellen (Taylor) Campbell passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by family. Margie was born on February 8, 1947, in Miramichi, NB to the late Joseph and A. Kathleen (Driscoll) Taylor.

 

Margie will be dearly missed by her step children; Jessica Campbell (Jeanine Hatfield), Jason Campbell (Mary Ellen) and Jeffery Campbell (Heidi), siblings; Arthur Taylor (Rose), William Taylor (Lorraine), John Taylor, Anthony Taylor (Trudy), Christopher Taylor (Debbie), Patricia Magee (Terry), Betty Macaulay (Kenneth) and Fay Titus (Howard), grandchildren; Devin, Dylan, Emma, Kassidy, Jayden and Kylie Campbell, and many nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents Margie was predeceased by her husband Charles Campbell, and brother Robert Taylor.

 

Charles’s children became like her own; Margie was so proud of them and loved them all dearly.

 

Thank you to the staff and doctors of the oncology department for their excellent care of  ‘Aunt Margie’ over the years, we are truly grateful.

 

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3, 506-634-1701. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 10:00AM – 12:00 Noon. A Memorial Service will follow   immediately in Castle Fallsview Chapel. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation’s in Margie’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
