Don and family - Mary was the kindest of neighbours, and someone I looked up to growing up. I remember after school snacks in her kitchen, Star Wars movies marathons, and end of school year bonfires at the beach. Mary brought the Brandy Point Rd community together, and always took care of us when we were kids. She will be greatly missed, but will be remembered at the heart of many fond childhood memories. My thoughts are with you, Don, and your family.

Don & Stephen:- Neighbours, the Rodericks and the Jamers share a love of the Lower Saint John River. That Brandy Point vista gave us a shared window on the ever-changing moods of our bay. The sunsets, reflected off the water and the sky, often brought an shared appreciation of the grandeur of nature. With the experienced eye of a real-estate agent, Mary & Don chose well. But there would have been winter days, when the nor’westers were blowing a howl ,that she must have wondered. In her next journey, no doubt she will always remember Brandy Point, as we will her. I was so surprised and saddened to hear the news of Mary’s passing. She was such a lovely lady, always wanting to be helpful. She volunteered at Westfield Elementary which was lovely for Devon who was there at the same time. You will be at peace now, finishing all the puzzles your heart desires. This is very sad news. I loved this lady! We met when she was my real estate agent about 25 years ago and we always had some good laughs and I loved it when we would run into each other at a store and we would catch up and talk and laugh. Don, Joann and Stephen please know we are thinking of you at this very sad time. For many years Mary was my confidant and friend, always listening and offering advice. I loved her laugh and she was never too busy to make a cup of tea and sit for awhile. Her nuts and bolts at Christmas were a highlight for me and my kids.
