Obituary of Ruth Henderson

Henderson Ruth Elaine (Nee McPherson) Passed away peacefully on Friday March 8, 2024, at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home at the age of 89 years, after a graceful and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of Ruth and Bill McPherson.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 65 years Jim, one son; James (Joanne) and one daughter; Jennifer (David) Peterson, three grandchildren; Benjamin, Samuel, and Sophie, as well as her sister; Debra, of Pocologan, N.B.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents, and sister Carole King.

Ruth was a long-time member of the Church of the Good Shepherd.

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701).
