Obituary of Norma Constance Binns
With broken hearts, the family of Norma Constance (nee Napman) Binns announce her passing on February 27, 2024, at the Carleton-Kirk Lodge. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on March 28, 1932, she was a daughter of the late William and Annie (nee Haynes) Napman.
Norma loved spending time with her family and was delighted when she became a grandmother and great-grandmother. Norma also held a special place in her heart for animals; she loved them all.
An avid Bingo player, Norma participated in almost every bingo game Carleton-Kirk offered.
Norma is survived by her children: William Binns, Mary (Robert) Bridgeo, Francine (Irason) Nickerson, Kevin (Brenda) Binns, Arthur (Michelle) Binns, Darrin (Sharon) Binns, Kelly (Chris) Burchill, and Tracey Blachard; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Connie, daughter-in-law Sherry, and siblings: Lexi, Dorothy, Mae, Patricia, Bernice, and Armand.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her extended family and friends at the Carleton-Kirk Lodge. The care and compassion Norma received was truly wonderful.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home (506) 634-1701 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John NB. In respecting Norma’s wishes cremation has taken place with a private family graveside to take place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norma’s memory can be made to the Carleton-Kirk Lodge’s Recreation Program. For those who wish, online condolences can be made by visiting www.castlefh.ca
