Obituary of Robert Emery Wilson

It is with great sadness the family of Robert Emery Wilson announce his passing on September 27, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, N.B. on January 27, 1934, Robert was the son of the late Emery and Ruby (Ferris) Wilson, and husband of the late Mary Jean (Sheppard) Wilson.

Robert is survived by two sons, Robert Emery (Louise) Wilson, of Saint John, Bruce James (Donna) Wilson, of Alberta, one daughter, Darlene (David) Shiels, of Rothesay, seven grandchildren (Robyn, Brett, Aaron, Matthew, Emily, Jonah, and Abi), and three great grandchildren (Bailey, Paige, Lincoln), several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Emery and Ruby Wilson, His wife, Mary Jean Wilson, and one sister, Judy Burgess.

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). As per Roberts wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Castle Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Donation’s to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
