Obituary of Mary Eleanor Thomson

“Polly” Mary Eleanor Thomson passed away on August 26, 2023, at Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1922, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Christina (nee Carr) Richards.

She is survived by her daughter Eleanor (John) MacDonald of Rusagonis, grandson Corey (Ashley), great-grandchildren, sister Gwen Murphy, sister-in-law Barbara Richards, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Polly was predeceased by her husband Jimmy Thomson; three brothers Russell, Stanley, and Alan; and two sisters-in-law.

A special thank you to the employees at Enhanced Living Special Care Home in Gagetown for their wonderful care and kindness during the past five months.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home (506) 634-1701 (309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB).
