Obituary of Linda Dorothy Pelletier
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Linda (Harding) Pelletier. Linda, 76, passed away due to complications from a recent surgery on July 10th, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, March 11th, 1947, she was the daughter of Kathleen Harding.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue (Peter) of Hanwell NB, her son Rob (Brad) of Fredericton, NB, and both of her granddaughters Katie (Chandler) and Olivia.
Linda was the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her mother Kathleen Harding and her twin brother David Harding.
Linda had a deep passion for animals, she cared for all and always had a pet in the house. She loved her two guinea pigs, Penny and Bella. Linda also had a passion for her genealogy. She would often spend time tracking her ancestors and contact any surviving members of the family. She was known for her crafting especially her afghan blankets.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital especially Dr. Bewick, Jennifer Nouwens and the rest of his team and Dr Jarrett for the care she received in recent days as well as the past years. We truly could not have asked for better care.
As per Linda’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. Donations can be made to the SPCA, the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Linda’s memory.
