Obituary of Gregg Peter Naves

It is with broken hearts that the family of Gregg Peter Naves announce his passing June 30, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 29. Born in Saint John, NB on November 22, 1993, to George and Doreen (nee Parsons) Naves.

Gregg attended Simonds High School and loved sports. He played school hockey as well as taking part in karate, skateboarding and gaming.

Gregg leaves behind his parents Doreen and George Naves; sister Courtney (Corey) Israel; brother Mike Naves; a special half-sister Gina Hooley; his precious daughter Kasia Sannah-Naves; niece Olivia Brewer; nephews Kamden Israel and Maddox Naves; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gregg was predeceased by both sets of grandparents Lloyd and May Parsons, and Arthur and Elizabeth Naves.

Resting at Castle Fallsview Funeral Home (506) 634-1701 (309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB) visitation for Gregg will take place on Thursday July 13, 2023, from 2:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 14, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM at the Castle Fallsview Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will be held at Castle Funeral home following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gregg’s memory to your charity of choice.
