Went to Beaconsfield School with both Rick and his sister Linda. They were both great people. I ran into Rick at the Regional Hospital about 10 years ago and he was the same super nice guy as he was in school. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family at this very sad time.

The coffee buddie clubs hearts are saddened of the loss of our dear friend and cohort that was the glue of sensibility at what we came to call "THE OFFICE."Rick was incredidibly engaging and caring to all of us and everyone he met during our coffee time together. Our local coffee spot where "THE OFFICE" met knew his name and coffee order just like the TV sitcom "Cheers". Rick's huge heart, remembering the little things picked up in conversations of weeks ago to follow up about and the concern the needs of others was his legacy and contribution to our friendship. If Rick knew how to do it, find it, or navigate an issue Rick was so willing to connect and help each one of us. All of us can still feel his presence driving his spotless truck into the same parking space most mornings to join us for coffee.
Our sincere condolences to Pat, Ryan, Kara, Archie, Bill, Star and all his family.
With deep affection,
THE OFFICE cofee buddies- Herb, Paul, Charlie, John C, John McQ, Tom, Simon,Joel, and Kim

We had so many memories of our outings in the boat along the rivers and lakes, fishing and swimming and hunting in the fall. Lots of stories and laughs - never a dull moment with Rick around. Most memorable was the bathing trunks hanging from a pole in the East Branch as Rick liked to really enjoy his swim. One in a million was our Rick.

How very sorry I was to read of Rick's passing. I have so many memories of the many hockey games and hockey parties back in the mid 70s with you and Rick. I would see him from time to time and he hadn't changed a bit, (still that chatty up beat guy). I pray the Lord's comfort over you and your family during this most difficult time.
