Obituary of Gloria Florence Barton

It is with great sadness the family of Gloria Florence Barton announce her passing on Sunday June 11, 2023, at The Carleton Kirk Nursing Lodge. Born in Head of Millstream, N.B. in 1939, gloria is a daughter of the late Allan Henry and Georgie Pauline (Andrerson) Barton.

Gloria worked at the Sugar Refinery for many years. She was best known for her crafts and generosity. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Gloria is survived by one son; Kevin Barton, of Lawrence Station, one daughter; Pam (Stephen) Harrity, of Saint John, four grandchildren; Robert Barton, Tammy Miller, of Kingston Penninsula, Michael Barton, of Nova Scotia, Nathan Steeves, of Saint John, two great grandchildren; Elizabeth and Darrian, several nieces, and nephews.

Gloria is predeceased by her parents, Allan and Pauline, brother, Kenny, Pascale, Glenford, one sister, Barbara Curwin, brother-in-law, Kenneth Wright.

Resting at Castle Funeral home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, (634 1701). A visitation will be held on Friday June 16, 2023, from 10:00am to 12:00.
