Obituary of Robert Anthony Robichaud
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert Anthony Robichaud announce his sudden passing on May 4, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 28, 1960, in Saint John, NB, he was a son of Aldei Robichaud and the late Irena (nee Maillet) Robichaud.
Rob was known to always have a project (or three) on the go and loved tinkering with anything – electronics, cars, bikes, and even recently 3D printing. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, particularly his family who could always call on him whenever they needed. Rob’s favorite places to be were in the woods or on the river and he was an avid hiker, boater, and biker; these hobbies he enjoyed sharing with his children in particular. Described as a ray of light by his colleagues and a bit of a prankster by his family and close friends, Rob’s jovial spirit will be greatly missed by all.
Rob is survived by his wife Judith (nee Anderson) of over 30 years; daughter Alex (Saleem Dabbous) Robichaud; son Spencer Robichaud; father Aldei Robichaud; sisters: Joan (John) Losier, Claire (David) Gallant, and Carol (Paul) Melanson; brothers Steven (Pam) Robichaud and Andrew Robichaud; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rob was predeceased by his mother Irena Robichaud.
