Obituary of Roger Paul Guimond
Roger Paul Guimond passed away peacefully on February 27, 2023, at the Ridgewood Veterans Health Center. Born on August 25, 1955, in Saint John NB, he was the son of the late Edouard and Doris (nee Babin) Guimond.
Roger loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed dancing and spending time with family and friends whenever he could. Roger was a proud and long-time member of the Local 946 working as a Crane Operator. He was also a long time member of the Knights of Columbus serving as a 3rd Degree Knight.
Roger will be deeply missed by her wife Alison Guimond, his biological and chosen children Clifford (Shayla) Blair, John (Nicole) Morrison, Christopher Galbraith, and Emily (Donnie) Daley; brother Normand Guimond, sisters: Jeannine Richard, Bernice Guimond, Valdine (Neil) Tuckwell, Michelle Guimond, and Suzanne Guimond; grandchildren: Jake and Olivia Galbraith, Sawyer Bennett, Ella Rory Daley, and Jack Morrison; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Roger was predeceased by his parents, sister Denise Guimond, brothers-in-law Walter McGinn and Ken Otis, and his beloved dogs Koda and Khaos.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). In keeping with Roger’s wishes cremation has taken place with no visitation or service following. A graveside service will take place on Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery – Field of Honour for 10:00 AM.
