Obituary of Herbie Beddow
It is with broken hearts the family of Brian Herbert “Herbie” Beddow announce his passing on Thursday February 23, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative care unit. Born in 1971, in Saint John, Herbie was a son of the late John William Beddow and Mary Casilda (Lyle) Beddow, and husband of Pam (Mott) Beddow.
Herbie is survived by his daughter, Courtney Beddow, of Sussex, N.B., Step son, Kyle Forsythe, and Step daughter, Kayla Forsythe, both of Saint John, four brothers, Joe (Angie) Beddow, of Saint John, John Beddow, of Saint John, Liam (Euphemia) Beddow, of Ontario, Gerald Beddow, of Saint John, four sisters, Elizabeth MacKenzie, of Saint John, Casilda Beddow, of Ontario, Vera (Brian) Dorbinson, of Saint John, and Lucy (William) Bannister, of Saint John, one step grandson, Bentley Forsythe, of Saint John, brother in law, Kevin Theoret, of Saint John, best friend, Corilee Wickens, several nieces and nephews.
Herbie is predeceased by his parents, five sisters, Marilyn Kerr, Sharon Beddow, Doris Melanson, Catherine Beddow, Louise Beddow, two brothers in law, Corey Melanson, and Gerry Kerr, three sisters in law, Tina Connolly Beddow, Roberta Boucher, and Linda Beddow.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (634 1701). Visitation will be held on Saturday February 25, 2023 at Castle Funeral Home from 10:00am to 2:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel on Saturday February 25, 2023 at 2:30 pm. Interment will take place in St. Augustine’s Cemetery in the spring of 2023.
