Obituary of Leo Guthrie
It is with great sadness the family of Joseph Edmund Leo Guthrie announce his passing on Friday, February 3rd, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on October 8, 1955, He is a son of Mary Dina Rose (LeBlanc) Guthrie and the late Winston Earl Guthrie.
Leo is survived by his mother; Mary, his partner; Julie Ross, four children; Bridget (Martin) Guthrie, of Moncton, Steven (Amanda) Clark, of Saint John, Robert Clark, of Saint John, Candice (John) Clark, of Saint John, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers; Paul Guthrie, of Saint John, Kevin (Patricia) Guthrie, of Saint John, two sisters; Linda Guthrie, of Vancouver, and Karen (Norman) Guthrie, of Saint John, and several nieces and nephews.
Leo is predeceased by his father, Winston Guthrie.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634 1701). Cremation has taken place. There will be no visiting. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday February 7, 2023 at our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church at 2:00pm.
