To his family, I offer my condolences and keep you in my prayers.
Where Scott was of few words, I am used to being of too many. But now, grief makes it hard for me to find enough to say why I will miss my friend.
If grief is love persevering when a son, brother, and friend is gone, then I share in this too.

When I heard about Scott’s passing, I was shocked. I was reminded of the times as kids, when I was so fortunate to spend time with the whole family on the boat on the river, around the kitchen table, or in the living room watching tv. Although I hadn’t seen Scott in a number of years, Sue has always kept me up to date with where everyone is, and how they are doing.
Jamie and I send our heartfelt condolences for your tremendous loss. Hopefully the memories of times together will fill your hearts and ease the pain.

I lived in Vancouver for four years. I spent a lot of that time hiking and joining group outings with Sue, Scott and others. Everyone knows that Sue was the social one and Scott the silent strong type. They were always together. Sue, I send you a strong hug. I know you loved him dearly.

I'm still in shock with Scott's passing. We've worked together for so many years. From when Trinidad & Tobago hosted the Commonwealth to just this past Wednesday in Saint Andrews. Scott was telling me of his projects, laser engraving and his latest, a metal forge. We talked of getting together and doing a ride this coming summer. I cannot express my sympathy for his families loss. He was a kind soul and a good friend. I'm forever grateful that I got to know him and my memories of him will stay with me.

My condolences to the Nelson family. I worked with Scott for a short time when he moved back to St John recently and he was a joy to work with - you could tell he really loved what he did. I'm sure he will be deeply missed.

My heart hurt when I heard this news. I went to school with Scott and Donnie couldn't have asked for nicer boys then. Scott had the best hair and by the picture he still did. Ride on my friend ride on. You will be missed.

I remember that night. The look on Scott's face when he bit into that hidden spice spot on the pizza was priceless.
I really enjoyed getting to know Scott and am so sad that he was taken way too soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sending much love.
