Obituary of Alice Faye Sargeant
It is with great sadness the family of Alice Faye (Flowers) Sargeant announce her unexpected passing on November 8, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 29, 1945 Alice was a daughter of the late George and Louise (Hampton) Flowers, and beloved wife to Harold Joseph Sargeant.
Alice is survived by her husband, Harold, one daughter; Nancy Sargeant, of Grand Bay – Westfield, grandchildren; Stephanie (Scott) Sargeant, of Maple Ridge, B.C., Adam (Samantha) Sargeant, of Nerepis, and Matthew (Chelsea) Sargeant, of Welsford, sisters; Marion (Ed) Durdan, of Saint John, Hazel (Bob) Corbett, and Muriel (Jim) Gaunce, both of Grand Bay – Westfield, Brother- in – law, Bill Donovan, of Colorado, sister – in laws; Glady’s Flowers, of Grand Bay – Westfield,and Paula Donovan, of Colorado ,six great grandchildren; Zackery, Chloe, Aidan, Cameron, Peyton, and Ryder, and several nieces and nephews.
Alice was predeceased by her parents; George and Louise, son; David Sargeant (2018), brothers; William Flowers, Pat Flowers, Frederick Flowers, and Douglas Flowers.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634 1701). A graveside burial will take place on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 11:30 am at Greenwood Cemetery. A Reception to follow at Grand Bay Legion branch #22.
