Obituary of Aurele Normand Morin
It is with great sadness the family of Aurèle Normand Morin announce his unexpected passing on Sunday November 6, 2022, at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in St. André, N.B. on August 18, 1951, Aurèle was a son of the late Louis
and Andrina (Lebel) Morin, and beloved husband to Noella N. (Bourgoin) Morin.
Aurèle is survived by his wife, Noëlla, son; Eric Morin, daughter; Nathalie Morin, grandson; Tyler Walker, great grandchildren; Charlee Morin, and Baylee Morin – Thomas, brother; Marcel Morin, sisters Rachel Caissie (Jean), Lorraine
Levesque (Don), Monique Dupuis (Paul) and Stella Morin and many nieces and nephews.
Aurèle was employed with the City of Saint John for many years. Working in the carpenter shop was his duty and retired as the shop foreman in 2012. He was also an active member of the francophone scouting community for many years
and took on many roles as a volunteer. Aurèle had a passion for the water. He loved the ocean waves, salty air and the beauty of all nature. He enjoyed his long bike rides on his 4-wheeler, camping, canoeing, and making friends along
the way. He found peace in his daily walks to the beach in Grande-Digue and often filled his pockets with little treasures he found in his path. He cherished his family deeply and enjoyed making memories with the people he loved. The
ones who crossed paths with him will never forget his warm smile, expert advice on a project or just a good heart to heart chat. He loved a good conversation, but most of all enjoyed a good joke to bring out his sense of humor.
Aurèle was predeceased by his parents; Louis and Andrina, granddaughter; Tiffany Morin – Walker, two brothers; Jean – Louis Morin, and Maurice Morin, one sister; Nicole Michaud.
