Obituary of Shirley Noreen Parker
It is with great sadness the family of Shirley Noreen (Logan) Parker, of Public Landing, announce her unexpected peaceful passing on Thursday October 13, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief stay. Born in Clarendon, N.B. In 1936, Shirley was a daughter of the late Ellery S. and Violet I. (Howell) Logan, and widow of the late Lloyd Arthur Parker.
Shirley is survived by one son; Darren (Tracey) Parker, of Nerepis, two daughters; Susan (Merle) Hebert, of Nerepis, and Brenda (Fred) Allan, of Morrisdale, two grandchildren; Patrick Parker Hebert, of Nerepis, and Dylan Donovan Parker, of Ottawa, one sister; Yvonne (Kent) Jones, of K- Park.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents; Ellery and Violet, her husband; Lloyd, and one brother; George Ralph Logan.
Castle Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John (634 1701) have been entrusted with the arrangements. A visitation will be held on Monday October 17, 2022, at Castle Funeral Home from 4 to 8 pm. A memorial service will take place at Castle “Fallsview” Chapel on Tuesday October 18, 2022, at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Brown’s Flat Baptist Cemetery.
