Obituary of C. Patricia Calvin
C. Patricia Calvin of Saint John passed away at Bobby’s Hospice on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2015. Born in Fairville on March 17th, 1929 she was the daughter of the late George “Stanley” and Marie J. (Louchart) Calvin. Patricia worked for many years at the Lancaster DVA Hospital in Saint John and retired in 1989 as Personnel Director at the Saint John Regional Hospital.Patricia was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church and an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She attended St Rose School on Mill St. in Fairville and was a graduate of St. Vincents High School. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her sister Lorraine A. Hermanson and her brother Alfred S. Calvin. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home, visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th, from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 541 Milford Road on Friday, September 25th, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John E2M 2L3 (634-1701), in care of arrangements.
