Obituary of Rosalind Armstrong
ARMSTRONG, ROSALIND - The death of Rosalind L. Armstrong, of 339 Nerepis Rd, GrandBay-Westfield, widow of the late Walter G. Armstrong, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday January 23, 2013. Born in Wimbledon, England she was a daughter of the late Mr.W. and Mrs. DeVulder. Rosalind worked for the Saint John Ambulance brigade in England before becoming a Post Mistress with Canada Post. Rosalind was an avid Needle Point Artist for which she had won numerous awards and also was known for her lovely Weaving skills and crafts. She really enjoyed keeping in touch with her relatives and friends from around the world. Rosalind is survived by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Jean Perrin, of GrandBay-Westfield, two nieces, Ginny Perrin, and Kathy Gangji, both of GrandBay-Westfield, and several other nieces and nephews and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, N.B. As per Rosalind’s wishes, following cremation there will be a service held on Monday January 28, 2013 at the Westfield United Church at 2 pm. Donations to the Westfield United Church, Save the Children or charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family
