Obituary of Jean Keleher

Keleher, Jean Chipman (Olive) Passed away suddenly on Friday, April 13, 2012 at her home, in Prince of Wales. Born on July 31, 1931 in Saint John, NB. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Audrey Jones (Kirkpatrick) Olive. Loving wife of the late Roland Joseph Keleher. Jean was an avid bowler for the Muskey League and an Auxiliary member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69. She was a member of the Imperial Loyalist Family and canvassed for the Canadian Cancer Society. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Tracy), of Quispamsis and Michael (Tammy), of Saint John; daughter, Suzanne Keleher, of Prince of Wales; brother, Fred (Susan) Olive, of Brandon, Manitoba; grandchildren, Jeff, Bobby, Jenny, Jared and Ally Jean Keleher and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, David Olive and sister, Elizabeth McGillvray. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West (634-1701) visitation will take place on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. There will be a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Center, following the service. Donations, in memory of Jean, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
